Purchasing of Meat Commodities

It is a matter of course for us that we procure meat commodities that we need worldwide from EU certified companies only. In this way, we can guarantee that the required strict hygiene standards are constantly being controlled by official medical veterinarians. Only meat commodities which stem from acknowledged brand programs will be used for the FRoSTA Purity Act. The brand quality is subject to defined standards. Meat products, from pig or chicken for example, must come exclusively from animals that were farmed in an appropriate way to their species. The traceability of all commodities back to their agricultural farming origins is guaranteed. Observance of the guidelines will be checked by means of supplier audits. The origins of the meat commodities will be agreed upon between the supplier and FRoSTA and will be defined in the specification of each individual product. The procured commodities and or ingredients may not contain any additional substances or aromas.
