Purchasing of Packaging

The FRoSTA AG is committed to minimizing the environmental effects of packaging without compromising the protective function of the packaging, the quality of the products or the demands of the consumers.

As a result, we are pursuing the consequent process of packaging optimization with the goals of  

• Reducing the weight and volume of the used packaging to a minimum of what is absolutely necessary
• Implementing new packaging materials based on renewable and sustainable raw materials in order to help with continually improving the ecological balance
• Fundamentally avoiding the use of substances whose production or usage can endanger the environment

All of the packaging materials being used by the FRoSTA AG conform to the international food regulations. Every year we document that our suppliers provide us with their food safety certificates for all of the primary food packaging materials.
